1706             The County Council in Lucerne granted
                            the Rössli the tavern license

1898             The Rössli was rebuilt in rural Renaissance style

1975             Josef and Marike Nölly took over the Rössli

                     modernised to meet the high standards of
                     today’s traveller

2002             Opening of the stunning new
