The starting point is in Küssnacht am Rigi. From there, the route passes through Bergli - Räb - Altruedisegg - Seebodenalp - Alpetli -Oberarth - Arth - Immensee - Küssnacht am Rigi.
The route is a short and intense training route. A climb, where speed and condition matter, and a descent that challenges and improves technique. During almost the whole tour you have a view of Mt. Rigi, Mt. Pilatus and Lake Lucerne.

The trail is as steep going up as it is going down. You are guaranteed to see some unique landscapes from this trail as well. The route leads from Küssnacht am Rigi to Weggis by way of Bergli - Säntiberg - Felsentor - Romiti - Gruebisbalm - Vitznau.

...around Mt. Rigi
First, you curve along the lakeshore until you get to the valley station of the mountain railway Urmi in Brunnen. Then you follow the lower reaches of the Muota towards Seewen. After the village of Lauerz, you go uphill to the Bernerhöchi. Then downhill, towards Lake Zug. You pass through Arth and Immensee. Maybe you stop for a delicious Zuger red carp? After a light fish meal, the trip back should not be too difficult.

...around the Bürgenstock
This route first leads you along the lake to Gersau. Here, the passenger boat to Beckenried awaits. As you get off, hop on the saddle - and on you go, along the shore towards Buochs. For a short distance, you bike through the countryside to Stansstadt. Now you are on the lake again and follow the narrow road along the shore to Kehrsiten. Here, you look for the next steamboat. It will bring you back to Weggis.
